APR's EMCS software is available for the 177Kw R32. The software for the R32 produces 188Kw and approximately 342Nm of torque (an increase of 22nm). Our software is designed to operate within the tolerances of the factory parameters, whilst producing good increase in low end torque, improved throttle response and a much smoother, more powerful top end. We have raised the rev limiter & smoothed out the factory "flat spot" normally found at about 2800rpm.

This model is available in the DirectPort version with EMCS. EMCS is operated via your cruise control lever and uses the engine check light on the instrument cluster to identify program changes.

EMCS consists of three important parts that work together as a cohesive unit: the EMCS module (which is soldered to the engine computer board), the EMCS on-board software (the software that is on the module), and the support software that is used to program and reprogram the module.
 
APR's EMCS is a truly modular system that allows for future enhancements and features to be added as they are developed without the need for additional hardware. EMCS makes the following advanced features possible:

FlipSwitch
Enables you to swap between two or more engine programs on-the-fly using a pushbutton. All cars have stock and standard chipped program versions available. Valet, race-gas, and other specialty programs are available for some models. Fault Code Erase/Throttle Body Alignment (FCE/TBA)
 

Fault Code Erase
allows you to erase and reset engine related trouble codes without having to use a specialty tool. Throttle Body Alignment allows you to manually perform throttle-body adaptation.
 

User Reprogramming and Reconfiguration
Gives the user the ability to reprogram their ECU with the latest software updates and to reconfigure their ECU for different preferences or to function with different hardware. This function requires the optional programming adapter.
 

Security Lockout
Prevents unauthorized personnel from accessing EMCS functions. The user may select any 1 to 4 digit security code. The security code is entered using the cruise control buttons.
 

EMCS PRICING

All APR chips now include EMCS hardware. EMCS options are available at an additional cost over the normal price of a chip.
